David Eshaghian is President of The Somerset Group, including their management affiliate Somerset Management Ltd., based in their New York City headquarters. He formed the organization in 1979 and leads all of the company’s operations, investment acquisitions, property management and new developments since that time.

Over the last 30 years, Mr. Eshaghian has successfully developed, both on his own and in partnership, over 500 luxury condominium units in Greater New York City. At the same time, he has led various investment vehicles in the acquisition of over 1.5 million square feet of multifamily, commercial and industrial real estate located in New York, Pennsylvania, Texas and California.

Mr. Eshaghian is an active philanthropist and is a member of the Board of Trustees of Yeshiva University in New York and is Chairman of their Sephardic Council of Overseers. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from Queens College, CUNY.

Sabrina Eshaghian is a principal and general counsel of The Somerset Group based in New York City. She joined the organization in September 2001 and is responsible for commercial leasing, real estate financing, contract negotiation and administration. She oversees our legal consultants, and is the liaison between our offices in Los Angeles and our company headquarters in New York. She holds a B.A. from Columbia University, an M.Sc. from the London School of Economics & Political Science and a J.D. from The Benjamin Cardozo School of Law. She is a member of the New York State Bar Association.

Gabriel Eshaghian is a principal of The Somerset Group based in Los Angeles. His responsibilities are focused on real estate acquisitions and finance, project management, entitlements and permits, new development and sales and marketing. Gabriel has over 12 years of sales and marketing experience in the travel industry and hospitality sector, and was previously a Global Travel Manager and Management Consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, focusing on strategic sourcing, commercial strategy and financial advisory consulting to the hospitality and airline sectors. Prior to his joining PwC, he held management positions with Virgin Atlantic Airways and Swissair. He holds a B.A. from the University of Southern California and Masters in Real Estate Finance from New York University.

Claude Eshaghian is a director of The Somerset Group. He oversees existing investments, entitlement, design and construction consultant teams, and cost due diligence for real estate acquisitions. Through his more than 15 years in the design and construction industries he brings a strong penchant for quality and a thorough understanding of the processes involved in development. Prior to joining The Somerset Group, he taught architectural design at the Danish Academy and at Yale University. His career as an architect includes work for the notable Eric Moss in Los Angeles and as a project manager at Turner Brooks in New Haven. He holds a B.S. from the University of California at Los Angeles in Industrial Design and a Masters in Architecture from Yale University.
